Drawing the stillness of simple beach scenes, I found an outlet to be creative through simple art, to create balance and beauty during a difficult period in my life. Whether it's a lone palm tree, the soft curve of the water's edge or the moon casting its reflection across the ocean, each drawing is a reminder that even during times of uncertainty, there is beauty in simplicity.
My art is minimal, but intentional, all my drawings will have three birds, a small but meaningful signature carried through all my future designs — and now I share them through Calm Ocean WA a brand born from my journey.
With every line and curve, I aim to capture the deep sense of calm and perspective a beach can offer. With every shirt, I want people to carry a piece of that coastal calm with them, a reminder that peace can be found even in life's rougher times. Our hope is that each design takes you to that imaginary place we all think about from time to time, standing barefoot in the sand, eyes on the horizon and feeling a sense of ease, a place to relax and reset. This isn't just a brand, it's our dream — a life lived simply, inspired by the ocean and shared through art.
